Jaroslav Wasserbauer

Jarolsav is born in 1962 in Moravia, Czech Republic. Graduated from the Glass Academy (Světlá nad Sázavou), he soon after gained a worldwide notoriety. 

The Artist fully master the entire process of glass sculptures, from all technical aspects to the finest finish. Often inspired by nature and architecture, Jaroslav definitly moved to abstraction with intense and unique sculptures. 

From minimalism to constructism, with an occasional hint of brutalism, Jaroslaw is the proud legacy of Bohemian glass, raising  skills and creativity to unmatched levels.

Perfectly controlling his pigments, the Artist acts on light and transparency, and plays with the fragility and the toughness of glass.

Jaroslav's Art has since been exhibited worldide, from Mexico (Museum Glass in 1995), New York (2001), Swizterland (1997), to China (2000-2001) and Chigaco (2019).
